A fresh take on supermarket signage.
In 2012, Woolworths briefed us on a complete overhaul of their in-store signage. We combined clarity in wayfinding and product information to reinforce Woolworths’ brand positioning of “The Fresh Food People” Our FLY-EYE-BUY based hierarchy dictated how the amount of detail in the messaging was related to the viewing distance. The closer you get, the more detail there is. After a successful live prototype test at Wolli Creek we created a Signage Application Guide for the design to be rolled out across all new and refurbished stores.
