With a brief to “create a true experiential concept store where cutting edge digital is seamlessly integrated with theatre and customer engagement,” our strategy had to break the mould. Flying in the face of conventional retail wisdom, there is no stock in the centre of the store. It’s all customer engagement, service and sheer wow factor. The entire Supercheap merchandise offer is in the outer ring. Full visibility and the use of over sized signage and graphics makes way finding intuitive. The store beat its budget from day one and is still a star performer.
