"Our Summer Hill"
THE IDEA
We set out to create a true destination, anchored by bp’s trusted fuel and brought to life through a deep connection with the Summer Hill community.
Our material and colour palette draw from the textures and artistic spirit of the area, celebrating both local expression and the joy of the unexpected.
To bring this vision to life, we teamed up with Studio Dennis for bespoke mural work that adds colour, character, and a distinctively local energy to the site. Inspired by the local bowerbird, we’ve gathered familiar yet surprising details to craft a space that feels uniquely of this place (rumour has it, one may have even built a colourful nest in the ceiling of the Drive Café).
bp stands for quality and reliability in fuel. Drive Café represents more: great food, thoughtful design, and an elevated retail experience. That’s why the building proudly carries the Drive Café name, more than just a café, it’s the heart and soul of the site.
